The world becomes a different place for Visually Impaired people, and systems are being developed that will be provide information to them such as public transport approaching, when electric vehicles which they can’t see or hear are approaching, when it is safe to cross uncontrolled pedestrian crossings, which shops they are passing and what goods/produce is on shelves in supermarkets and shops and many others.
We have developed a number of Smart Systems for Visually Impaired users
Problems Blind People Experience
This video has been produced to highlight the issues faced by blind people when faced with what would seemingly be something taken for granted by sighted people which is merely walking along a street.
The man is using a standard cane which although functional has many limitations which Sm@rt Technology systems and SmartCane are able to overcome.
He states that walking with a cane and bashing into objects for him is normal. Our systems can help make those problems a thing of the past.
